About the destination: Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a beautiful port city situated in Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands. Inside the city there are as well exotic landscaped areas as are the fine Botanic Garden, a beautiful unique lagoon, and Loro Parque, an animal park with parrots, sea lions, orca and dolphin shows in an immaculate sub-tropical setting. Santa Cruz hosts every year its famous Carnival, declared to be of international tourist interest and one of the most spectacular in Spain. The city streets come alive with parades, comparsas, street music and dancers to celebrate this sexy and sultry festivity. The city beach, Las Teresitas, is considered one of the best on the north of the island. A spectacular sandy waterfront where palm trees sway to the soft, warm breeze and its beautiful calm waters are ideal to get away from the city buzz.

About the destination: Los Cristianos is a town situated on the south coast of the island of Tenerife and is one of the most popular towns in the Canary Islands. Wandering around the old fishing village there are still buildings in the typical Canarian style of architecture and some of the fishing village atmosphere remains. Elsewhere the town is newer and has grown up as a tourist resort. The port is attractive and offers various excursions including whale and dolphin spotting. Game fishing is also a popular activity in Los Cristianos for both experienced fishermen and those interested in having a go for the first time The Eagle Park is also a nice option to visit, and the Siam Park, which is the biggest aquatic park in Europe.
